Breast Cancer or any cancer can be a blessing in many ways as it is the perfect opportunity to reassess life and living, to gain whole new perspectives and a better quality of life in many facets of our lives. Add to the fact that the motivation to change behaviour and ways of thinking is incredibly strong when we receive a diagnosis or undergo treatment. We have the power to optimize any treatment and improve any outcome by arming ourselves with the latest findings in eating, stress management, sleep, exercise, meditation, mindfulness training, avoiding or reducing external cancer-promoting factors such as plastic, cling film and cell phones.
We will be sharing current, ground-breaking research in all these areas – so that we may think of ourselves not as breast cancer survivors, but as breast cancer “thrivors”; all the better for our pink journey.
